Membership Application form
The Energy-club, Kolkata is an informal group of like-minded individuals who are concerned with energy. The club is an outcome of the follow-up actions of the International Training Programme on " Efficient Energy Management in Industries" organized by IISWBM and UNESCAP.
Objectives
The main objective is to play the necessary role to restore a balance between energy supply and demand for the sustainable livelihood of people on planet earth in general and India, in particular. We believe that "the Earth has enough for everybody's need but not for anybody's greed."
Another objective is to regularly organize seminars, workshop, survey, studies, etc.
Club Activities
Members of the club meet regularly to share their experiences in pursuit of the above objectives. The methodologies are sharing of experiences on reduction of energy wastage and increase in awareness in the common people of Indian Society. This is being achieved through quarterly meetings in every third Friday of January, April, July and October.
The next (third) meeting will be held on Saturday, July 21, 2001 at Jaya Shree Textiles, Rishra.

Membership Rules:
Membership is open to anybody who shares the above objectives. Their is no entry fee. The only "fees" that club seeks from its member is their time and support.
